The 1994 Chesapeake Bay Basinwide Toxics and Reduction Strategy is in its third year of implementation. The Toxics Subcommittee is making significant progress in fulfilling the 33 toxics strategy commitments and the overall strategy. The Toxics Subcommittee initially focused its time and resources on those commitments with the earliest deadlines. Although progress is being made on all commitments, modifications to deadlines will be necessary for some.
