The primary focus of this contract was the development of a statistical analysis framework for the detection of trends in Chesapeake Bay water quality attributable to pollution-control managementactions. In Chapter II, a procedure for selecting trend analysis of water quality data is presented. These methods are reviewed and summarized inAppendices C and D of Volume II of this report.
