The major focus of the Nonpoint Source Forum was to explore how the Chesapeake Bay Program partnership can further reduce chemical cotaminant loads from urban, suburban, and agricultural areas to achieve a "toxics free Bay". Stakeholders identified the barriers to encouraging a water quality focus to stormwater runoff management and what control techniques, incentives, education/outreach, and coordination are needed to overcome those barriers. Three breakout sessions were held at the forum to discuss nonpoint sources: Urban/Suburban Runoff, Pesticides, and animal agriculture. This document summarizes proceedings of the Forum.
