Within the context of this report, habitat is defined as the biotic and abiotic conditions upon which the living resources of the Bay depend. Abiotic conditions include factors sich as water quality, sibstrate, circulation patterns, bathymetry, and weather, two dominant factors are salinity and depth. biotic conditions are governed by variables such as vegetative cover, quality of prey species, environment represents a wide range of these comditions which are dynamic in time and space.
