As an integral component of its priority setting process, the Chesapeake Bay Program's Toxics Subcommittee has sought the expertise of Chesapeake Bay researchers and managers in developing a series of Chesapeake Bay toxics status and assessment papers. The purpose of each paper is to document and assess the current state of understanding the identified potential Chesapeake Bay toxics issue in order to answer qusestions. The "Staatus and Assessment of Chesapeake Bay Wildlife Contamination" paper focuses on a critical review of available data and information for evidence of impacts on uptake of toxic substances.
