In 2015, outdoor retailer REI began an effort to get folks out of the stores on Black Friday and into the outdoors. A nationwide movement to #OptOutside was born. To date, over 700 organizations and seven million people have chosen to get outside.
As the holiday season kicks off, we encourage you to get outside and experience all the Chesapeake Bay watershed has to offer.
