Since April 2023, David Campbell has been serving as the Acting Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program Office. Prior to that role, Dave led the EPA Mid-Atlantic Region’s Laboratory Services and Applied Science Division. Dave began his EPA career in 1989 as an engineer in the Air Protection Division where he worked on an array of challenging air quality issues. Over the past 20 years, Dave has served in a variety of management positions in the Air Protection Division, Land and Chemicals Division, and the Environmental Innovation and Assessment Division. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master of Environmental Engineering from Penn State University.
