Jimmy Looper joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in 2023 as an Environmental Management Staffer supporting the Stewardship Goal Implementation Team. Jimmy supports the work of the goal team, Diversity, Environmental Literacy, and Stewardship workgroups. Jimmy is a 2020 graduate of Washington College, where he majored in Environmental Studies and Anthropology with a minor in Chesapeake Regional Studies. Prior to joining CRC, Jimmy volunteered as an exhibit guide at the National Aquarium, interned with NOAA Fisheries researching salmon recolonization, and worked as a Climate Change Program Developer at NPS Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine through the Chesapeake Conservation Corps Program.
