Overview

Feathers come in so many colors and serve so many purposes! Feather research continues to influence conservation, evolutionary theories, and forensics in surprising ways. In this talk Master Naturalist, Anne Walker, will explore the many ways feathers, through their unique morphology, have impacted birds and humans. Anne is a trustee of Pickering Creek Audubon Center and has been fascinated by feathers for years. She developed this popular talk on them for a Master Naturalist class and has been learning about feathers ever since. The event will be held virtually on Zoom. Cost is $7.00.
