Join our educators at Paradise Creek Nature Park for an hour and half of outdoor fun, exploration and hands-on nature education! This program is ideal for homeschoolers or preschoolers, aged 4-8 years.
Youth will feel care-free and energized as they participate in our outdoor program where they will celebrate the trees, birds and sunshine with a sense of wonder. Parents/Guardians stay onsite with children for the duration of this program.
DATES: Tuesdays May 2nd, May 9th, June 6th and June 13th. Select as many dates as you like under "Tickets"
May 2: Spring into Paradise: Use your senses to discover spring in the park! Color matching games, flower dissection and prints, birdsongs and more!
May 9: Bugs and Butterflies: Hunt for insects, create insect homes, bug hide and seek games, help create butterfly habitat!
June 6: Celebrate the Trees: Yoga in the trees, touch and learn about bark and leaves, create tree creatures and more!
June 13: Meet the Marsh Critters: Get up close with snails, minnows and crabs! Go on a bird walk around the marsh, create critter tracks!
TIME: 10-11:30am.

COVID protocols: Participants will attend only if they are in good health and not experiencing any COVID symptoms. No indoor restroom facilities available. 2 well maintained portapotties and hand sanitizer and portable hand wash station onsite.
NOTE: Minimum of 6 youth participants, Maximum of 20 for Nature Explorer Program
WEATHER: We will reschedule if extreme weather but will hold the program if light rain.
