Going Green at Gunston School
Students get hands on with sustainability
The Gunston School’s overarching mission is to help students grow and thrive in a way that way that will prepare them for not only college, but also to be lifelong leaders. Resting on the shore of the Corsica River in Centreville, Md., Gunston uses a student-centered philosophy to thread environmental stewardship across disciplines. It was recently certified as a 2015 Green School by the Maryland Association of Environmental and Outdoor Education.
