Purpose

2015 Mid-Atlantic Environmental Literacy Summit, on November 9th, will focus on “Creating Sustainable Schools” by showcasing innovative approaches to reduce the operational costs and environmental impacts of schools is being convened by the Chesapeake Bay. Following the Summit the Chesapeake Bay Program Education Workgroup leadership and advisers will convene on the 10th to take recommendations from the summit and revise the sustainable schools workplan. The summit and meeting are convened by the Chesapeake Bay Program and sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Chesapeake Bay Trust. Summit Webinar Recording:
