Purpose
This webinar will offer an in-depth look at the next proposed Goal from the revised Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement. Attendees will learn about the key outcomes driving progress toward this goal, including efforts to reduce excess nitrogen, phosphorus and sediment, strategies to mitigate toxic contaminants and how monitoring and assessing water quality standards aid in protecting the Bay’s ecosystems. Join us to understand the proposed revisions for each outcome, why these updates are being proposed and how they complement and build off of their 2014 Watershed Agreement goals and what is new for the public to watch out for (new focus for our toxics contaminants mitigation outcome!).
