Date and Time
Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 10:00am - 12:00pm
Purpose
*Note: ITAT has rescheduled their May meeting for Wednesday, May 20th from 10AM-12PM.
This is the calendar webpage for the May 2026 ITAT Meeting. The agenda and additional meeting materials can be found below as they become available. You can join us virtually via the Teams link or in person in the Black Duck Conference Room.
This meeting aims to explores how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are being applied across the Chesapeake Bay watershed to better understand long-term patterns in water quality, ecosystem health, nutrient pollution, and hydrodynamic processes. Presentations will highlight emerging AI/ML tools and findings, and we will discuss key challenges such as model transparency, explainability, stakeholder trust, and translating scientific insights into practical decision-making tools.
Please contact ITAT Staffer Gabriel Duran (gduran@chesapeakebay.net) or ITAT Coordinators Breck Sullivan (bsullivan@chesapeakebay.net) and Kaylyn Gootman (gootman.kaylyn@epa.gov) with any questions.
