Purpose

This workshop will convene environmental education leaders from the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia to foster communication, coordination, and collaboration on topics related to environmental education throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The goal of this meeting is to convene environmental education leadership in the mid-Atlantic region to update the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) definition, Bay program MWEE indicator and related tracking system and to develop near term strategies to advance systemic adoption of environmental education/MWEE’s in the mid-Atlantic jurisdictions.
