Mid-Atlantic Region Environmental Education Leadership Retreat
This meeting is open to the public. Unless otherwise noted, it may be recorded for internal use.
Date and Time
Wednesday, November 20, 2013 (all day)
Purpose
The goal of the retreat is to discuss the current status of regional environmental education commitments and review and develop a draft regional tracking system to monitor progress toward state and regional goals. We believe this is an important, perhaps unprecedented moment in our regional work to advance environmental education and our intent is to provide an informal and open atmosphere that allows for the exchange of ideas and actions that are grounded in reality but also forge new ground toward our regional goals. The results of our efforts of this retreat will set the stage for discussion and next steps at the December 2-3 Regional Environmental Literacy Summit at the Westin Hotel in Annapolis, MD. Due to budget constraints, participation in this Leadership Retreat is by invitation only. For more information on the Summit or the Education Workgroup, please contact Sarah Brzezinski at Sarah_Brzezinski@partner.nps.gov.Location
