Modeling Workgroup October 2026 Quarterly Review

Purpose

*Note: This meeting has been rescheduled from October 6th-7th to October 28th. 

**Note: The Modeling Workgroup October 27th meeting date has been rescheduled for December 8th. 

This is the October 2026 Modeling Workgroup Quarterly Review. We will be convening on Wednesday October 28th from 9AM-3PM. More information will be provided closer to the meeting date. 

This meeting will focus on progress updates and assessments across the Chesapeake Bay Program's modeling efforts, including the Main Bay Model (MBM), Conowingo Model, and local Multiple Tributary Models (MTMs). Attendees will review assessments of dissolved oxygen (DO), submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV), and shore erosion, as well as a GIS visualization tool connecting watersheds to tidal shallow water quality. Additionally, the agenda features a presentation on modeling living resource responses to prioritize water quality improvements and habitat enhancement across the bay.
