Purpose
In an effort to showcase the extensive work being done across the watershed by state and local governments, watershed organizations, non-governmental organizations and private landowners; and to provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, the Executive Council will hold a Restoration Fair on September 21st at Sandy Point State Park near Annapolis, Maryland. Exhibits will display projects and programs that work to achieve the goals and commitments of the Chesapeake 2000 Agreement in the following thematic areas: Living Resource Protection & Restoration, Vital Habitat Protection & Restoration, Water Quality Protection & Restoration, Sound Land Use, Stewardship & Community Engagement. An invitation only BBQ will follow the fair from 4:00PM - 8:00PM Direction: From points west: U.S. Route 50 East to Exit #32 and follow signs. From points east: U.S. Route 50 West over the Bay Bridge to Exit #32 and follow signs.Related Files:
