Description
The Best Management Practice (BMP) Verification Ad-Hoc Action Team was established to address a 2020 charge from the Management Board to the Water Quality Goal Implementation Team. The action team's task statement included the following tasks: (1) Explore alternatives to BMP re-verification, (2) revisit credit duration, (3) explore lesser-used approaches to BMP verification and (4) review recommendations from ongoing BMP verification work being undertaken by the Chesapeake Bay Program. This report was authored by the action team's Coordinator and Staffer to explain how this charge was addressed and to document the suggestions the action team's leaders submitted for consideration by the Water Quality GIT, Chesapeake Bay Program office and broader Chesapeake Bay Program partnership.
