Description
The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office (NCBO) developed this quality-assurance project plan (QAPP) for use with a continuous vertical water column hypoxia monitoring project. This document has been prepared for the Chesapeake Bay Program using existing documents prepared by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Geological Survey and Maryland Department of Natural Resources for other water quality monitoring projects. The QAPP documents the standards, policies and procedures used by NCBO for activities related to the collection, processing, storage, analysis and release of continuous water quality monitoring data. The policies and procedures that are documented in this QAPP are consistent with QAPPs developed by other Chesapeake Bay Program partners for water quality measurements in the Chesapeake Bay.
