Description

The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Literacy Indicator Tool (ELIT) was developed to monitor the capacity and progress of public school districts toward meeting the environmental literacy goal stated in the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement. The ELIT is administered every two years as an electronic survey to all local education agencies (LEAs) in six jurisdictions: the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. This report presents results from the 2024 ELIT for all responding LEAs in Delaware, regardless of whether or not they are in or outside of the watershed. In addition to this report, you can view a summary of these LEAs' ELIT responses.
