Description

The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Literacy Indicator Tool (ELIT) was developed to monitor the capacity and progress of public school districts toward meeting the environmental literacy goal stated in the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement. The ELIT is administered every two years as an electronic survey to all local education agencies (LEAs) in six jurisdictions: the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. This report presents results from the one public school district in the District of Columbia. In addition to this report, you can view a summary of this district's ELIT response.
