Directive No. 97-1 reaffirms the Chesapeake Bay Program's commitment to reach its phosphorus and nitrogen goals, calls for a range of actions to speed up and augment current pollution reduction efforts and commits to continued efforts to refine our monitoring and modeling of the Bay and its watershed to assure the most accurate measures of progress.
