Description
The Wetlands Expert Panel convened in late 2014 to provide recommendations on how natural wetlands and the implementation of wetland best management practices (BMPs) should be represented in the Phase 6 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Model. This report includes the panel's conclusions, recommendations, key findings and considerations. The panel was formed in coordination with the Wetlands Workgroup and Habitat Goal Implementation Team, and followed the procedures and expectations outlined in the Water Quality Goal Implementation Team’s Protocol for the Development, Review, and Approval of Loading and Effectiveness Estimates for Nutrient and Sediment Controls in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Model, or "BMP Protocol."
