Bailey is a contractor working for the U.S. Geological Survey at the Chesapeake Bay Program Office as a Geospatial Analyst. She makes contributions to a variety of projects including Healthy Watersheds and the Environmental Justice and Equity Dashboard. Her work also includes 3D visualizations of the Chesapeake Bay as well as visualizing different environmental concerns such as sea-level rise and climate change. She has a background in computer science and digital art, and recently graduated Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, with a focus on Biology, and a minor in Geographic Information Sciences. During her last year in college she was a C-StREAM intern through the Chesapeake Research Consortium where she was able to experiment with a new application by ESRI for the Chesapeake Bay Programs GIS Team.
