Erin is employed by the EPA and serves as a Grants Project Officer for the Chesapeake Bay Program Office. Previously she spent 10 years at the Smithsonian Institution with the Conservation Commons and Earth Optimism program, and the Office of Fellowships and Internships. Prior to that, Erin taught fish farming in rural Zambia as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2009-2011. Her Peace Corps experience was part of the Masters International Degree in Natural Resource Management she received from Texas Tech University. She has a BA in Natural History and Humanities, also from Texas Tech University. Erin currently lives near the Anacostia River in DC with her husband and 2 children.
