John is a Geographer with the Lower Mississippi-Gulf Water Science Center of USGS. He is also the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Team Leader for the Chesapeake Bay Program in Annapolis, Maryland. He is responsible for planning, coordinating, developing and applying GIS and data visualization efforts to address Chesapeake Bay conservation and restoration issues.
