Date and Time

Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 9:30am - 12:00pm

Purpose

Goal Team 6 and the Chesapeake Bay Trust are hosting a conference call on Wednesday, May 20 from 9:30 – 12 noon to give FY20 GIT Funding Project Groups a chance to: 1) share their initial ideas, 2) identify opportunities for cross-GIT collaboration, 3) ask questions and 4) listen to ideas about how to improve their projects. Think of this conference call as the first step in the FY20 GIT Funding cycle. There will be a secondary step, in the form of technical lead training, at a later date in May. To start, we recommend that groups look over what they submitted for the Strategic Science and Research framework, Local Engagement Needs (the “Local Engagement Team” can provide results upon request phillips.tuana@epa.gov), the DEIJ Strategy, management strategies and logic and action plans to “close” any gaps with this funding. Please note that we are not changing criteria for GIT Funding based on the above-mentioned resources. We are simply identifying sources for potential project ideas and efforts underway at CBP that can inform and enhance project ideas. Please see the meeting calendar invite or agenda for conference call information. If you have any questions, please email Chantal Madray at madray.chantal@epa.gov.
