In response to a presentation at the November 2019 Management Board meeting on the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee's workshop on microplastics in the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed, the Management Board approved the creation of a Plastic Pollution Action Team. This document outlines the Management Board's charge to the action team, and includes the timeline the team should follow in undertaking this charge and the membership the team should include.
