Description

Achieving the outcomes of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement will require significant support from the local government planning community. Over a two-and-a-half-year period, Planning for Clean Water: Local Government Workshops sought to build collaboration between local government planners and the Chesapeake Bay Program. There were three key phases of this project:

  1. Identify local planner’s needs.
  2. Convene workshops for local government planners.
  3. Share the results of the workshops within the broader planning community.

This report summarizes all three phases of the project and provides lessons learned and recommended next steps.
