About
In December 2025, the Workforce Outcome was signed into the revised Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement under the Engaged Communities Goal. The Workforce Workgroup seeks to achieve the Workforce Outcome and its associated targets.
History
The Workforce Workgroup was established as the Workforce Action Team in 2022 in response to increasing interest from the Chesapeake Bay Program in better understanding workforce-related challenges to achieving the program's goals and outcomes. The action team supported the development and implementation of a landscape analysis, as well as coordination and collaboration around workforce development and programming.
