2025
- 10 AM - 12 PM: Hybrid Forestry Workgroup Meeting
- Join us virtually via Microsoft Teams or in-person at the Adams County Conservation District Office (670 Old Harrisburg Rd, Suite 20, Gettysburg, PA 17325).
- 12 PM - 3:15 PM: Lunch and Field Tour
- For in-person attendees, lunch will be provided, followed by a guided field tour of several sites. For more information, please see the field trip itinerary linked below.
Healthy Landscapes Goal Joint Meeting
This is a joint meeting between all of the outcome workgroups under the proposed Healthy Landscapes goal in the revised Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement. (Forestry, Land Use, Protected Lands, and Adaptation). Note for HWGIT, FWG and LUWG: this joint meeting will replace the December meeting for these workgroups.
This joint meeting will take place on December 16th and will likely be a full day (10am-3pm).

Chesapeake Bay Program Webinar: Addressing Urban Tree Supply Challenges in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed
With urban tree planting initiatives expanding nationwide, there is increasing pressure on the supply of trees. Those seeking to purchase trees often find their options more limited than expected in terms of quantity, quality, size range and diversity. To address these challenges, the Chesapeake Bay Trust and the USDA Forest Service collaborated with a team of researchers to facilitate discussions with growers, designers, urban foresters, and technical experts across the Chesapeake Bay watershed. In this webinar, we will present highlights from this effort, including significant research findings and case studies from successful initiatives in both the public and private sectors.

The Chesapeake Riparian Forest Buffer Networking Summit will facilitate conservations between entities working in and across the Bay watershed jurisdictions. This Summit will replace the June Forestry Workgroup meeting.
