Rachel is employed by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and serves as the Chesapeake Bay Program Communications Director. She oversees the strategic direction of the communications needs of the 10 goals and 31 outcomes of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement, is the partnership’s main media contact and coordinates the Strategic Engagement Team and Executive Council planning committee. Rachel has a certificate from the University of California at San Diego Extension in Sustainability and Behavior Change, as well as a master’s degree in environmental policy and management and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh. A Pennsylvania native, she now lives life on the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, Maryland.
