Tou Matthews joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in 2023 as a Projects Manager for the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC). Tou organizes STAC Quarterly Meetings, STAC Workshops, and works on STAC reports. Tou graduated McDaniel College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, concentration Earth System Sciences. At McDaniel College, Tou was co-president of the student-led sustainability organization Green Life and worked as a Learning Assistant at the STEM Center. They have also volunteered at their local estuary center and The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.
