This is the calendar webpage for the January 2026 STAR Meeting. You can join us virtually via the Teams link (in the below agenda) or in person in the Brook Trout conference room.
The theme of this meeting is Indicators, and we will hear from three presenters followed by an open discussion. First, Katie Ayers (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, EPA) will provide an overview of the Chesapeake Bay Program’s (CBP) Indicators Framework and offer suggestions for potential changes and additions. Second, Alexandra Fries (University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, UMCES) will present a brief overview of the Chesapeake Bay and Watershed Report Card. Third, Jeff Lerner (EPA) will provide an overview of the Puget Sound Partnership and its approach to indicators in Puget Sound. We will conclude with an open discussion on CBP Outcome Indicators and how they may evolve under the revised agreement.
