    Chesapeake Conservation Partnership Annual Meeting

Monday, October 21, 2019 (all day)
Ten years ago, many of the partners who now make up the Chesapeake Conservation Partnership gathered for the first time to develop strategies for advancing land conservation and public access. A decade of success and a stronger commitment to land conservation throughout the Chesapeake watershed have followed. We celebrate this at our tenth annual meeting. At the same time, the coming decade is even more important, and it’s time to engage with it. We focus on the crucial challenges ahead, and engaging the conservationists needed for the next ten years of success and beyond. We will have structured inquiries on two major issues and how we can adjust our work to address them.

    Chesapeake Conservation Partnership Annual Meeting

Monday, October 5, 2015 (all day)
The annual meeting is central to achieving the mission of the Partnership: fostering collaborative action to conserve culturally and ecologically important landscapes to benefit people, economies, and nature throughout the six-state watershed. Since 2009, the annual meeting has convened a diverse group of committed partners to discuss planning and strategy, share successes, define actions, and make commitments to address the most challenging conservation issues facing our region. This year’s meeting focuses on furthering several priority initiatives identified at the 2014 meeting and advanced over the past year by working groups and the Steering Committee.

Chesapeake Large Landscape Conservation Partnership Meeting

    Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 11:00am - Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 5:00pm
More than fifty partners gathered at the National Conservation Training Center to further their shared work on large landscape conservation. The primary focus of the meeting was on developing shared agreements on how to further communication and collaboration efforts among the partners and focus energy on priority action areas. This meeting builds on a series of meetings, held almost annually since 2009 to advance large landscape collaboration in the Chesapeake watershed.
